The DebtFreeSquad has spent months studying many of the top financial sites on the internet and would like to recommend 25 of our favorite sites we reference often and also subscribe to many of their free newsletters. Those sites that made our list believe in and live by Biblical principles and will either help you get out of debt, save money or make money. We have really enjoyed doing the research and used Money Crashers, “Top Personal Finance Blogs” to help us out. They have ranked almost 500 personal finance sites and if you want to see the algorithm they use please go to their website. We also wanted to add some Internet numbers from 2010 by the Pingdom blog that may be of interest to you. There were 255 million websites as of December, 2010 and an additional 152 million blogs (tracked by blogpulse). There were 600 million people on Facebook at the end of 2010 with 250 million new people in 2010. There are 20 million Facebook apps installed each day. There were 175 million people on Twitter as of September, 2010 with 7.7 million following Lady Gaga, Twitter’s most followed user – you must be kidding me!! Personal finance by Lynnae, a Christian stay at home mom. Her topics include saving money, debt repayment, credit cards and frugal living. Check out her list on 101 ways to save money. Lynnae has been featured in Redbook, the Associated Press and marketplace money. BeingFrugal ranked # 30 in Wisebread’s top 100 Personal Finance blogs.
Peter at Bible Money Matters launched his site in January of 2008. He talks about his Christian faith and how it affects his finances. Peter helped us in launching our site with his E-book, “Blueprint for how to make money with a Blog.” The site puts up 3-4 new articles a week.
Bob and Jonathan have teamed up to start blogging your passion. Bob has a very popular blog in Christian PF and has been earning a full time living from his blogs since 2009. Jonathon started blogging in 2009 and he is dedicated to help those who want to discover, pursue and develop their passion through blogging. This site provides many blog resources that you can use if interested in building your own. Check out his Make Money Section where they talk about the many forms of advertising that you can use to make money with your website if you chose to start one.
John launched borrow from none in 2008 and was very concerned that he was not being a good steward of the many blessings he had received. So he set out to change that by reading books, reading blogs, creating and refining plans, discussing topics with friends and family and increased his knowledge of personal finance tremendously and now shares that knowledge with you in his many articles. He took the name of the site from the book of Deuteronomy, Chapter 28. Check it out.
“Cents” able Momma is a stay at home mom who has always been a “frugal” person. She now enjoys sharing with you ways to make and save money, frugal ideas, and plenty of deals and freebies. If you would like to be a stay at home mom this would be a great site for you.
Bob at Christian PF launched his site in June of 2007 and has a goal for his website to be a resource to get practical tips, biblical revelation and wisdom on handling your personal finances. Bob has been very helpful in getting Robin and I started with DebtFreeSquad. Christian PF is the #1 ranked Christian financial website and has over 1500 articles for your enjoyment. He recently launched blogging your passion where he shows how he turned blogging into a full time endeavor.
Crown Financial Ministries presents biblical truths relating to stewardship, ethics, practical money management, and God’s ability to meet financial needs. They are ranked 39,568 in the US according to Alexa traffic rankings. Their website is packed full of resources and many churches throughout the country sponsor their training programs. Right up there with Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University.
This site should be on everyone’s top list as Dave is the Guru of personal finance and becoming “Debt Free”. His saying is, “Live like no one else so someday you can live like no one else. He is the author of many books but his most popular is Total Money Makeover and it made a huge difference in our lives. We also took his Financial Peace University class and then taught the class through our church for over two years. Check to see if his radio program is broadcasting on a local radio station and if not you can always hear these on his website.
Matt launched debt free adventure in January of 2009 and has a team of writers dedicated to helping you get control of your finances using biblical principles. Check out his book shelf and 30 day missions.

Kelly launched her site in 2008 and gives you daily encouragement in the form of money-saving deals, easy tips, mouth-watering recipes and budget stretching strategies. Check out her Recipe Box and how to live healthier on a budget. You will find hundreds of free coupons at places like Wal Mart to Whole foods you can print from your computer. Through his blog, Khaleef hopes to educate you on a wide variety of financial topics including debt reduction, taxes, charitable giving, budgeting using coupons, finding deals and freebies, mortgages, insurance, car buying, and loans.
This site shares the many bible verses dealing with finance, money, debt, budgeting, stewardship and a host of other financial topics. At financial scriptures they believe that the wisdom contained in these scriptures can help individuals with their financial lives. All finance scriptures are categorized and explained, so that individuals can receive the greatest benefit from them.
Launched in 2007 this site is a personal finance blog with a Christian perspective. It’s about growing wealth in accordance with Proverbs 13:11 “Dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow.” In other words stay away from the “get rich quick” schemes. You will enjoy many useful articles on managing your finances and growing wealth. Check out the “Money Saving Monday series.”

Check out her You tube video channel where she has a series called, “31 weeks to a better Grocery budget.” Chrystal has almost 1000 other sites that are linking to her – Pretty impressive.
This site is really about helping you think differently about your money and encouraging you to pursue the most important things in life. Jason says, “true wealth is defined as the Pursuit of the three P’s – People, Passion and Purpose!
Ron has written close to 1000 articles on personal financial management, achieving and maintaining a great relationship with your spouse and children and how to succeed in your occupation, whether an employee or an entrepreneur. He has had close to 2 million visitors since December, 2007.
John at the Christian Dollar has a Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Christian counseling. The site is geared towards Christians wanting to better themselves in the area of finance. Every few days, a new article is posted that is sure to challenge the way you think about money. This site was officially launched in January of 2010 and was influenced by Dave Ramsey.
Erin, known as the $5 Dinner Mom started couponing in the summer of 2008. She loves to cook and loves the challenge of coming up with meals under $5. Check out her “How to” and cooking tutorials. She also has a cool section on “Happy growing, eating and saving with your own garden. Love those home grown tomatoes!!
